I became obsessed with melting glass after attending a fused glass course at my local arts centre. I then searched for a suitable kiln and ordered some glass. Since then I haven’t looked back and have been selling my glass since 2010. I wasn’t aware of lampworking until 2012 when visiting The International Festival of Glass in Stourbridge. Here I became fascinated with this craft and added lampwork equipment to my home studio in Derbyshire, Endlgand.
I enjoy making all of my glass items but particularly enjoy layering glass to create texture. I use a lot of frit (crushed glass) to create images on glass as well as working with bold stripes and geometric shapes. Glass comes in a huge variety of colours and I enjoy creating bright pieces.
